Netsi and Elfi at the Bahai Temple in Dehli
Elfi did want not to miss the opportunity to see the Bahai temple in Dehli, which is the central Bahai temple for the Asian continet. It is shaped like a lotus flower and is really a remarkable monument, which is on the list of every Dehli sightseeing tour. Ofcourse you find on the web extensive documentation on this Bahai temple
Therefore on Saturday Elfi and Netsi flew from Bangalore to Dehli, which is a 2 and 1/2 hour flight. Ofcourse they flew AirDeccan, the Indian low cost carrier and ofcourse the plane was delayed by more than 4 hours. Luckily they informed us by SMS so instead of getting up at 4 o'clock they hat to get to the airport only by 8 am. So they flew into Dehli, took a Taxi from the airport to the temple and spent the day at the temple. It was very hot in Dehli, around 38 degree and they did not yet provide mats on the floor so outside the temple their feets were burning and they were really relieved when they made it inside the temple. Theyy even had a chance to attend a prayer session. After the prayer they went straight away into the book shop of the temple. Judged by the number of books they bought must by now be pretty empty. But books are reallly so much cheaper in India than in europe it is almost unbelievable. After diner they made it back to Bangalore and the plane was even on time - at least more or less, just 1/2 hour delayed. So by midnight they were back in our appartment - exhausted buy happy.
