My sunday morning walk
On sunday morning Cara, Luca and Netsi attended the Bahai children's class. I stayed at home, because I had a meeting with our landlord. Afterwards I wald to the ITPL, a high tech park which is about 20 minutes walk away from our appartment, because Netsi had the car. In the park downstairs is a small shopping mall,
with some shops and also some nice restaurants and coffeee shops. Because lots of IT callcenters for the US are located in this building which work on american times, the mall is virtually 24 hours a day open and you find your basic needs there. The walk there enabled me to take some pictures and give you an impression where we live.
The first picture shows the road on which we live its called ECC road, but so far I haven't figured out what ECC stands for. The next pictures shows our appartment complex from the distance, so as you can see it is more or less set alone in the area.
The next pictures show a few scene of street live whereas the last picture shows the ITPL - my goal of this mornings walk. Actually before SAP moved into its own campus we were located in this building and some small groups still are. The building looks so different from the surroundings - its amazing.
It has its own power supplies, its own Sattelite dish and microwave antennas on the top, its own water supply, even a small hospital is in the basement next to the mall. We used to joke, add a seperate oxigene supply and you could put this building on the surface of the moon.
